Seeds of Doubt is a storytelling-based short film series exploring three urgent forces shaping today’s discourse: Hate Disguised as Social Justice, Extremism, and Propaganda. Through intimate, first-person storytelling, the series examines how identity, belonging, influence, and ideological certainty can shape the way we understand the world, and how curiosity and critical thinking can create space for something different. Designed for digital platforms, classrooms, and live audiences, Seeds of Doubt invites viewers to question assumptions, recognize manipulation, and engage with complexity rather than retreating into black-and-white thinking.

We believe curiosity is a powerful antidote to extremism, and that the ability to question, think critically, and tolerate complexity is essential to a healthy society.

Pilot Episode: Three people share their journeys from conviction to disillusionment. A former Antifa member, a former social work student, and an Iranian dissident reflect on their experiences with ideology, activism, and environments where questioning the prevailing narrative became increasingly difficult.

Episode Two: Revolution Lived vs. Revolution Chanted features voices from Iran, Cuba, and Venezuela who experienced revolutionary ideology firsthand. Their stories offer a perspective on what happens when promises of liberation collide with the realities of authoritarianism, and invite viewers to consider how these ideas are taking shape in American schools, activism, and political discourse today.
